Game Overview
The game play feels fairly similar to the first game. However there are tons of small differences that make this game stand out compared to the last one. One of my favorite improvements is how the game presents way more incentives and options when deciding what planets to take. For one, the graphics are much better, and I cannot understate how much that helps this game. The game looks amazing in terms of style and aesthetics, each ship adds so much to the atmosphere of grandeur the game tries to set.
The UI is much improved too, and while the tutorial is not too helpful at the moment, the new player experience is much better. At lower difficulties there is no need for any micromanagement so new players can focus entirely on developing strategies and learning mechanics.
