Game Overview

Bigger problem for me is that the creator team didn’t capure the full potential of this game. This is an interactive content but nearly always the only thing the player does is to observe. It lacks creative ways to move the story. Erasing is a fine mechanic, but pretty quickly it feels like a chore to continue to the next chapter. I maximized the eraser size in the menu, i think you should as well. Second part of the game features a couple more mechanics but it is not enough. Get Walkerman PC Game.

A perfect example of what this game should have been is “Florence”. It too is a story driven game with great visuals, but has many clever mechanics to feel like you are experiencing something special. This on the other hand, feels like an animation series with manual loading screens. Maybe i have really high standarts when it comes to art, or maybe i expected more from a game with Annapurna stamp on it. Either way, i will probably return this game and buy it again on sale just to support Annapurna Interactive and the visual artists.
