Game Overview
This is a rather decent go at Killing Floor: VR. It could definitely use some polish and additional content but it gets the job done nicely. My biggest complaint is the length. It seems like VR developers feel like VR titles need to be short for some reason. I managed to finish this up in a single sitting and under 2 hours. That is entirely too short. But aside from the length, it was a very enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was always tense, eerie even. The weapons were just as bad– as they are in KF. You do, well, I did, feel like a total bad– while you’re shooting!
I had fun playing this game. It was my first VR game naturally, since I was a crazy Killing floor 1/2 fanatic. I’m not sure why this game has such mixed reviews. There are so many complaints about this game, but I guess because people are expecting it to be exactly killing killing floor 2 but in VR. I’m sure Tripwire had its reasons for not making a complete VR replica. On its own, its a fun game and weapons include: basic knife, pistol, dual pistol, axe, shotgun, and rifle. The clots are pretty satisfying to head shot. You also get Nidhogg 2.
