Game Overview

This is a hard one for me. I don’t do visual novels or anime, but I was down, and a friend recommended it to me. All I’ll say, is the three original routes are pure joy. The music is incredible, the writing is funny and sweet in equal parts and the girls are all lovely. It’s especially nice how they don’t disappear from the story on each other’s routes. The fourth route is a bit of a let down in terms of writing quality, but still adds some nice detail.

The fifth route… it has by far the best writing and the most engaging story, but it is depressing. Bittersweet, beautiful and melancholy, I’m not ashamed to say I cried reading it. I wish I hadn’t. The fan disk, coming out eventually, has a variant of this story with a much happier ending, so I’m waiting for that to clean my tears away. Get The Almost Gone PC Game.
