Game Overview

This is where the game really shines. Work to program a fleet of robots to create the perfectly optimized cooking assembly line. What really hooks me in is the “histogram” showing how you’ve faired against other players. It really elevates the game, and makes your decisions more meaningful. Unfortunately, I’ve found myself spending way too long playing a level for the first time because I’m obsessed with finding an optimal solution.

Get Discolored PC Game. f you press play, you can slowly iterate through the crafting process and see what you did wrong. The only con I’ve found is that some additional features are locked in the “options system”. You’re forced to play for score and, at the end of your session, your points transfer to this system and as you level up, you get those features. To begin with on the first level there’s already a couple of workstations, ingredients and a robot. In the top right corner of your screen is your current Goals and Recipes. In the left corner of the screen is the Controls, Stats and Undo.

Along the bottom of the screen is where your programmed movements are stored for your robot’s. Each of the levels are displayed in a grid of ten by six squares which is your workspace. Not a huge deal but it doesn’t encourage people to play TIME ATTACK mode wich is, in my opinion, the best and most fun mode to play. The mechanics are clever, and it does such a good job of rewarding you when you figure out a solution. It doesn’t hand hold you too hard, and right from the get go the puzzles are just challenging enough. I’d give this a 10/0 for game balance.
