Game Overview

Another brick in the mall is another game which looks like Prison architect. But is it good? Oh yes. I personally like managing a mall more than prison. You start in an empty lot, build your mall, hire staff, design everything, open it and try to make profit. After you build everything you need to think of a plan, where you place groceries, vegetables, diapers and many more goods. Building is done similarly to Prison architect, you draw a room, build it and assign it. But I’d like it to be simpler – I want just choose a room, place it and shape it how I want, why is it so hard to do? At least there’s no sewer and electricity to take care of.

Then comes hiring people and designing you mall. You place the shelves and choose what products to put there. The variety is pretty big, you can have almost anything on your shelves. You need to plan your mall and satisfy people’s needs. You also set working hours and manage your staff. Sadly there’s no campaign mode. I usually play campaign and then play sandbox for some time but sandbox becomes boring because you have no goals. There are couple of scenarios but I’d like a long campaign.
