At first sight Rising World looks like a more technically advanced version of Minecraft: it is also an open-world sandbox game where you can do whatever you want to do. We’ve seen tens of these games come by the last couple of years, some a bit tougher/challenging than others, but the basics always remained the same. Will Rising World be the game to finally bring something new to the table or is it just more of the same and therefore better to avoid it. An early survival aspect has also been partially implemented, but at the moment it’s still far from complete. While some things are already in place the focus right now is still to build stuff.

The game generates a random open world each time you start a new game so if you’re tired of your current world then you just press a button and BAM. You have an entirely new world to play in/with. Every object can also be interested with in some way, which is very cool and makes the world feel more believable. And everything can be destroyed as well. How great is that?
