Two things: A remake of Mighty No 9 and a huge progression of the original Mighty Gun volt. If you hated MN9 then MGVBurst will fix your broken faith. Controls are perfect, the level design tight, graphics pleasing to the eye, same great soundtrack as MN9, good enemy and boss patterns and most of all a super deep and seemingly infinite weapon customization system that makes the game extremely addictive. While a single play through is around a few hours you have three characters in the base game and 9 after all the DLC, all of which play very differently. Going for 100% with each character will extend the play time to a ridiculous level for a $10 game. Overall it was great on the Switch and it’s great here on PC. Took way too long to coming but it was worth the wait as this port is perfect. Another excellent platformer from Inti Creates. I’m especially a fan of how Burst killing enemies can actually have additional effects, like cancelling whatever on-death attacks enemies have, or increasing the special gauge of certain characters faster than regular kills.
