Game Overview

People have been hesitant about the job-system. Let me take that part away for you. It’s a wonderful system and while at first you might think: “Ah, I might stick with this class”, it really lures you to the other jobs, especially since you have the ability to hook on an ‘old’ ability to your character. So you can make yourself a Samurai with Black Magic. Or a Geomancer with Steal. I think this is probably the best the job system ever worked.

However one negative must be pointed out here. Not all jobs are as appealing as others. For me personally Chemist, Bard and a few of the exclusive jobs for the Steam-version are kinda a waste of space. But the beauty of this game is, unlike Final Fantasy III you are not forced into any job at anytime. You can play any job you want at any time. Story isn’t the greatest in the Final Fantasy-history.
