Game Overview
Controls are weird, as if you’d need to memories them rather than visualize the trick on your joysticks. Out of most of them Ollie, kick flip and laser flip seemed most realistic when it comes down to the joysticks. Grinds are weird and TOO precise. Slightly turning with triggers mid-air makes you spin a full 480, not so much control in air. For an early access map, this is great. It’s not extremely small like Skater XL’s right now and am definitely looking forward to seeing the whole NY map in the future. The extra’s such as the apartment being a main hub where you can alter your looks, watch vids and adjust settings is a nice idea. The soundtrack is kind of bland, lyrical miracle individual type rap that’s fun to hear two or three times but will probably bore you a fourth time, definitely hope there will be more variety in the future. It does add to the 90’s vibe, but the 90’s had so much better rap than just this style.
