Game Overview

For a remaster its alright. My only gripes are the fps and choppiness at some points. It is tolerable though. I only have the PSN release to compare the PC release to. Totally fine IMO, the sprites are good and don’t take away from the classic feel if that’s what you’re after. Its also crisp enough for people new to the series and like “newer” graphics. For example I refuse to buy any of the Final Fantasies on steam that were ported from mobile/SNES/ps1 because of the graphics, for Grandia this isn’t the case.

Its active time battle, you can see the actions your enemies are about to use and act accordingly. Plus you can move the characters around on the battlefield to help them avoid damage. You can use critical hits to cancel enemy attacks at the cost of speed. Totally fine, sounds just like the PSN version. Beware though that you have to change the audio quality in your sound settings to 16 bit. Get Synth Riders PC Game.
