For the game itself is very enjoyable to say the least, and that’s coming from someone new to the crafty Atelier series. Combat has a unique if not interesting take on mixing real-time with some tactical orders and actions to control. It may take getting used to as there’s quite a bit to keep track of with everything moving in real-time but it does feel good when you finally get the hang of it. With spells, attacks and action triggers going off, it can turn into a flashy spectacle to behold. Get Do Not Feed The Monkeys PC Game.
As for the main charm of this game, the crafting: I find it to be very enjoyable being able to create your own gear and items with specific traits and qualities depending on the materials used from gathering. Now I don’t have any previous Atelier title under my belt to compare it to as from my understanding this system is a bit of a new one. It’s a seemingly simplistic concept but gradually gets more interesting and detailed as you go, and I haven’t even gotten to the part where you can apparently rebuild and/or upgrade past created items. Not much more I can say about it as I think it’s something one has to see and try out for themselves.
