Game Overview

One assumes the name is a slightly wonky allusion to the protagonist’s long ears: it’s the top half of a rabbit, you see. But one does have to wonder whether there’s some sort of deeper meaning here. The game has absolutely no sound or music, so perhaps the player is supposed to consider what the world would be like without hearing, even if one had such large ears. No, probably not. I think it’s just laziness, much like the lack of any animation of the protagonist’s sprite, or even the lower half of the rabbit, for that matter.

So the game plays like a minimalist plat former. It presents you with a series of levels, each of which is made up of a few stationary platforms, a few small moving platforms, and some enemies moving in simple backwards and forwards paths across set areas of the level, which never differ. Your job is to collect the few cartoon carrots scattered about the level and then make your way to the rabbit hole which for some reason has a closed door preventing entry until you’ve collected your carrots.
