Risen Kingdom is a colorful and cute Tower-RTS-Defense game. The unique part about Risen Kingdom is the RTS game play incorporated into a “tower defence” hybrid, you have the freedom to place buildings, gather recourse and build an army to defend your castle, just like any other RTS. The “Tower Defence” part of the game comes into play when the enemy attacks. Unlike you, the enemy has no base to attack you from. Instead, the AI throws waves of hordes at your castle walls.
There are some really clever twists to how the game play is structured. There is a day and night cycle, which means, enemies are stronger during night then during day. During night-time, your Rangers accuracy is affected by the dark. To compensate, you can build torches and bonfires to help increase their damage output and accuracy.
