Game Overview

Maybe you have to be a true SAO fan to enjoy the story in this, but I’m not. This is easily one of the worst stories I’ve ever had to force myself through. When the games *main* story isn’t busy feeling like a placeholder, it is incredibly and incomprehensibly boring or infuriating in just how stupid it and its characters are. The first half of the game is a glorified tutorial and what little I’ve played past that isn’t much better in the slightest. Edit for more time: If anything it just got dumber. The characters themselves are far from compelling, and I’d be more than willing to overlook the overall narrative if they were at least interesting. Kirito himself is bland, but he’s grown on me through some manner of stockholm. The others are inexcusable, Eugeo himself is a wet blanket on a god forsaken Palette swap of the main character. I have no reason to care about Alice. I definitely don’t care about the extra girls (I can’t even remember their names), or the harem.
