Game Overview

Beneath a Steel Sky was one of my favourite games on the Amiga 26 years ago, and I’m thrilled that Union City has made a return. The sequel is packed with some lovely references to the Amiga original, and it was magical to revisit these characters all these years later. The switch from a traditional point and click interface works well, too – and if anything makes the city far more immersive – plus the game has some brilliant new characters with some wonderful voice acting.

That said, the second half of the game doesn’t quite live up to the first, with puzzles and characters becoming much more sparse – it feels like the latter half was rushed compared to the first. And the main issue is the buggy nature of the game, with things like characters wandering through each other, audio fading down suddenly and all manner of other things. Get Robo Inc Project PC Game.
