Game Overview

Thymesia’s essentially Bloodborne by way of Sekiro; a frantic character-action game with a focus on defensive timing, proper reactions and maximizing damage. Add dash cancels, a decently large skill tree to build off of AND the ability to summon spectral versions of enemy weapons, and you’ve got a good game for people who like needing to hit a lot of different buttons. Unfortunately it’s kinda rough in certain aspects. Get Creepy Road PC Game.

Boss quality is kinda inconsistent. The REALLY good bosses – and you can tell the devs know they’re the good ones – are loaded into the beginning and end of the game. Hell, the first non-tutorial boss is probably the best one in the game! 5/8 of the game’s bosses are really damn good, while the other 3 are gimmick fights and/or easy as hell. You know those boss fights where you’re fighticrack ng a swordsman with a similar moveset/skill level and it’s fun as hell? This game’s got a bunch of those and it’s really weird to have to go through a lower-end Zelda boss just to get to the next one.
