Game Overview

The boners age setting was really cool and reminded me of the old AD&D Dark sun Modules. Much more moral ambiguity. Game play felt smooth. Tyranny is a non-traditional adventure with a rather non-traditional cast of characters… in a rather hard-to-predict story.
This isn’t a “Saving the world” adventure, in fact you do not save anything. For that alone I’d invite people looking for a change of pace in storytelling to play Tyranny. Tired of all the role playing games where you play as a good guy. 

The character advancement system takes quite awhile to get used but it is rewarding once you master it. Where it really shines is in replay ability – there are 4 distinct faction campaigns to play through if one wants to. While these campaigns use the same locations there are enough differences to still make it worthwhile.  I would suggest reading a walk through in advance if you have your heart set on a particular faction.
