Game Overview

The fisherman’s tale is by no means a bad game. It has a very clever design, good sound, overall lovely presentation… The issue comes in the lack of expanding on introduced mechanics. All of the puzzles are very intuitive (bar one minor hick up I had in chapter 2) and I was completing puzzles so fast I would often cut off dialogue because I was moving through the game too quickly. The game spans a total of 4 chapters + the prologue, and I finished everything within 90 minutes. I would have loved to see more challenging puzzles introduced, and overall a longer game play length in general. Everything about this game is so superb it feels really underwhelming when your experience is cut short.

Honestly, this game just feels like a proof of concept rather than a fully fleshed out title. It’s only $15, however I’d argue it’s not worth more than $10 considering the content; it’s shorter than watching most feature length films. If you find this game on sale, definitely pick it up as it’s a great experience, but it definitely isn’t enough to hold you over for a long time. Get Feather Of Praying PC Game.
