Game Overview

Abode 2 is an escape room adventure set in a cyberpunk-like world. You are in an apartment and have to restore power to a whole city district. There is no time limit for the task. A drone accompanies you and carries things and provides useful hints when you are stuck. The puzzles aren´t too difficult whereas some things took me a while to figure out. I mastered the whole experience in 80 minutes. The physics are quite good even if things get stuck from time to time but that´s no deal breaker. There is free locomotion and teleport controls, both can be combined. Index controllers with finger-tracking are supported but the finger tracking is useless.

One thing might be a little frustrating: in the beginning it is very dark in most corners of the apartment so that you can barely see anything. It takes a while to restore electrical power and to be able to turn the lights on. Until then you are stumbling through dark corners, half blind, and hoping you don´t miss something. All in all it is well done, looks good, controls well and I can recommend it even if a little more content for the price tag would be deeply appreciated. Get Rescue HQ The Tycoon PC Game.
