Agents of Mayhem is riddled with flaws but it still deserves more positive attention than its gotten. It’s an under produced open-world romp with progression systems that aren’t nearly developed enough. However, it’s also a shooter RPG that feels smooth and freeing in your hands and that disposes with all the busywork that’s long cluttered the genre. Seems like most of the people are giving negative reviews, because it’s not Saints Row and it’s boring, which is stupid. Sure, game gets repetitive after some time, my biggest issue about game play part is that most of the “dungeons” are the same, which kinda gives you that feeling of goriness, but other than that, it’s pretty fun game. Jokes are generic, but they’ll make you smile at least, story isn’t half bad, characters are, well, let’s say interesting, they’re unique for sure, you have several ways to play the game, you can crank up the difficulty, to make it more fun and challenging and stuff. For it’s price, I’d say it’s worth it, but you can wait for sale and get it then, to be honest, you won’t be missing out much.
