Antigraviator is a great if you feel like a Wipe out-like, speed-crazy game. It feels great, looks great and gets you pumped up for the next moment of insanely crazy, speed-inducing grav racing. For the price, you’re getting a reasonably long and good campaign, which is hard enough to have to make you train on some individual tracks, and 15 tracks that are beautiful and well-designed. I had always hoped that someone would always make some sort of spiritual successor to the Wipe out series, and this is enough to mostly satisfy that. It does somewhat lack the tight corners and weapons of Wipe out, but also partially makes up for it with serious speed.
As a Veteran I find the handling model disappointing. There’s no Directional Brake or Drift system, you just have left and right steering and a conventional brake. It feels like a Kart game; if you’ve played Rocket League the steering and braking feel are kinda similar to the Octane in that.
