Game Overview
A very simple, isometric mech shooter with some strategic elements like point capture, and some tower defense elements. There is not much depth, and my first impressions were honestly that it felt a lot like an asset flip. Not in the sense that the assets looked bad, because for the most part, they don’t. The dev says he made most of it himself, and it does look as good as the screenshots most of the time. I mean to say it feels very much like someone very inexperienced decided to try making a game, and that is exactly what it is.
After coming from something like Brigador, or piloting the exosuits in HELLDIVERS, the mech comes across kinda unsatisfying to me. Most of the guns don’t feel very punchy, they lack feedback. The missions are also not very challenging. The artillery gun you have is fun to use though, but I personally feel like it could stand to be a little stronger.
