Game Overview
This DLC is a very nice little addition to Armello, with beautifully crafted characters. BUT I would strongly advise anyone who is still quite new to Armello to get either the Userpers or Bandit Clan DLCs first before this one. This because these Rivals characters, though adding a whole new level of tact and fun to the game, will not necessarily give you an easier win, if anything quite the opposite. Each new character has an ability which requires thought to use well along with a familiarity with the mechanics of the base game. They also each have glaring faults, which makes them both fun to play with and against, and means you have to think to use them successfully.
The new rings and amulet are ok, they have nice synergies with the new and even with some old heroes from the base game or the other DLCs. I leave you the joy of discovering these synergies without spoiling the surprise, happy theory crafting. By now, with the base game and all DLCs, there’s a large selection of heroes for all tastes and play styles. You might have already discovered your favorite main so you won’t need this DLC to remain competitive online. But if you’re a completion that likes playing every hero occasionally, like me, then I’d recommend getting this DLC. Get FORTNITE PC Game.
