Game Overview
The stealth sections are actually interesting in this one but it has a lot to do with the setting and art style because it becomes evidently clear as you play through the game that it would have benefited greatly from some more QA testing. There are so many sections in the game that were pure trial and error because they hadn’t been tested properly for game flow. All in all I feel like they made these games just because they could make them and not because the wanted to make a good 2D Assassin’s Creed game.
Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia is a 2.5D side-scrolling puzzle plat former. While not altogether different from the other Assassin’s Creed Chronicles games, it offers a different and unique challenge. The difficulty has been ramped up in this version to provide a bit more of a challenge, but not so much so that it’ll take you longer than 5-7 hours to beat it. At the end of the story, I’m left with more questions than answers, but I’m told that this series is a companion series to the comic books which I have not read. You will also get Assassins Creed Syndicate.
