Game Overview
AvariaVS is an extremely good game, that’s what I’m going to say first and foremost. It’s polished, it’s fun and it’s somewhat intuitive too, not many places really leave much to desire, but there’s one thing that’s going to really concern me right now and that’s the player count. This game really isn’t making the round right now, and that has me incredibly concerned, it’s a huge potential game, but I don’t feel enough advertising or marketing is being done for this, if really at all. I can trust the devs to maintain this game no matter the player numbers and no matter the struggles, but an MP game isn’t going to be MP with a low player count, even if it is a 1 on 1 game. On other grounds, while there isn’t much room for improvement, some graphics still seem to have resolution and scaling issues which afaik was brought up earlier this year, and possibly last year. The online UI still has relatively eh banner images, which is a shame when they take up 40% of the screen on it. Last but not least, extremely personal preference, they changed some of the designs for mini-games to be more cute, which wasn’t up my alley at all, but each to their own.
