Game Overview
Besiege is insanely fun. Mowing down hordes of tiny cannon fodder with your self made death machine is strangely enjoyable. The price is fantastic, £4.99 is a bargain right? Correct, especially considering the fact that this gem is still in early access. The inclusion of the steam workshop allowing players to share their creations with the community is another positive. The graphics are a plus too, with a nice ‘fluffy’ style and gorgeous in-game freeze frames. Overall, Besiege was something different, a breath of fresh air and a definite recommendation.
Besiege is a gem hidden among the trash that has recently come to steam, (cough cough grass simulator). A great game with good physics, beautiful graphics, a relatively easy to use building system, and overall fun game play. Smash sheep, splatter soldiers, or just build to your hearts content, the endless possibilities that besiege offers are simply astonishing. I am writing this review in early access, however from what I have seen so far into the game, although only being one campaign level, and a bit of a bugged sandbox, I see a game with the potential to turn into one of the best games on steam.
