Game Overview
This game is an amazing homage to the original Diablo, with a few interesting twists. For starters the card system is just a blast to fiddle with. Something about frantically switching out cards based on the enemies weaknesses keeps me on my toes and is just a load of fun. At first I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about the fixed paths in the dungeon, but in the end I found that there’s a certain kind of strategy to the fixed paths! Keeping track of what paths you have in case you need to backtrack due to a horde of demons, and trying to not get cornered by them was pretty damn fun.
Book of Demons is an on-rails, hack-and-slash game developed by Think Trunk. In BoD you journey into the evil depths underneath your town to get rid of the monsters and eventually defeat the arch-demon. Playing as a warrior, ranger or mage, you’ll meet several characters who will help you on your journey and you’ll come across new cards to improve your character and make clearing out the dungeons easier.
