Game Overview
This is a fun little plat former, and after barely an hour of playing, I felt that I had to leave a review for it. They wasn’t entirely sure what to expect from it, but it has blown me away so far. I was pretty quickly pulled in by the story element, and I love the way each block-y little character has it’s own distinct personality, expertly conveyed with only font style, size, and speed. The only negative thing I have to say about this game isn’t even much of an issue, just something that felt “clunky” to me; when navigating the shops/trading menus with a game pad, having to move the cursor around with the right stick feels off. I’m more accustomed to having a selection highlighted when I open a menu, and then changing the selection with the d-pad or left joystick. But again, that’s more a matter of preference, and doesn’t subtract from the game in any significant way.
