Danger Scavenger looked pretty cool at first, and my first experience with the game felt pretty good. However, this quickly turned downhill with the game’s pacing. Why is it so slow? I am not particularly good with this kind of game and so obtaining the currency so that I can buy whatever I can afford at the next shop became a big priority. How did I end up with the amount of Scrap that I need? By busting open every destructive environment object on each floor after killing the enemies present. For me, this process got tedious rather quickly and the game became no longer the smooth action-packed game I was hoping it to be.

There’s a loose minimal story. To be honest, it doesn’t matter. Just like a lot of other twin-stick shooters, you end up trying to destroy everything and anything in sight. The world is in some cyberpunk setting and you are taking out enemy robots in single or multiple waves on each floor you are on. It turns out that each floor is also on the rooftop.
