Game Overview

The character’s themselves aren’t super exciting either. Each comes with its own play style, which really boils down to what annoying contrivance you have to deal with as you go along. The Warrior can re-roll dice naively, but most of the gear he can pick up is really boring. The Thief can use a random ability of the enemy he’s facing, but most of the time it’s nothing great- and this is on top of the fact that the Thief has the worst gear in the game by far making him frustrating to play. The Robot is weird and hard to explain.

The Inventor is amazing in that she gets a free use ability based off a piece of equipment you discard, but you are forced to discard a piece of equipment every time you win a fight- this forces you to buy (and have equipped) unnecessary stuff just to keep your build going. And then there’s the Witch who is overly complex for the sake of being overly complex. Oh, and then the Jester, who uses both a deck builder format along with rolling dice for all your RNG needs.
