This game is a tried and true action plat former. The combat is responsive and varied between the different characters along with that the bosses having avoidable attacks or block able attacks depending on the character your playing as or your teammate. The pixel art is amazing and shows the makers of this game their dedication to the genre, a shame that the character sprites only flip depending on what direction they face but is understandable because they are a small company trying to make money from a niche audience. overall a challenging game when your alone but enjoyable with friends.
One quality feature that I wish I knew about is you can change your name/color/voice type after the first mission. It would’ve saved me restarting a few times to find the least annoying voice, and I’ll admit I wish they wouldn’t make the same sound with every action input.
