Game Overview

The game’s best feature is its impressiveness. The dungeon is dark, dreary, and ominous, with the clattering of chains and screams of undead echoing just beyond reach. Torches are necessary to see, and the game conveys the loneliness exploring an unknown place perfectly. Levelling up is swift and enjoyable. There are a number of skills and spells for each class, and you will master a fair bit of them before the end of the game. A welcome turn from LoG where you could only master one or two schools at most. The mechanics seem to be heavily inspired from Dungeons and Dragons, with spells like Colour Spray and all of the traditional stats.

However, there is one thing I do NOT understand and which annoys me: NO matter what graphics settings I use, I have my Ge force GTX 1080 Ti ALWAYS running at 95% GPU load, even in the main menu. This seems to be some sort of bad programming, because to be honest, I cannot see any reason how and why the graphics should put this kind of high-end card to its limit. As a result of this, the GPU gets hot and the fans keep spinning at high speed, which is annoying. Please developers, optimise the graphics engine to run and scale more efficiently.
