Game Overview
EONIA is very early in its life as a game, and being in the Early Access phase, I will try to be careful in how much I read into certain facets of the current game and game play in general. So far, it’s almost more of a walking simulator with some puzzle elements, but you can die fairly easily too if you aren’t careful and do not utilize save points. Game over is game over. You’ll be starting wherever you saved last, so keep that in mind as well.
There is a draw system with certain animals. You don’t actually make sketches; it’s more like a bar of progress if you’re within a certain threshold compared to where the creature is. You can then go and learn more about them from a book once you match them. It’s fun and all, but I wish there was not a block on certain animals if you fail to have the appropriate.
