Game Overview
Game play is still a bit kinked up with some glitches, but given this game just came out and is still very much in Alpha, it’s to be expected and can even be fun. I really like the gather and build mechanic, which reminded me of Stranded Deep but was much, much more player friendly. The raft won’t actually go anywhere, but it does show signs of really working well. I had expected the sailing to be something like the game Raft has once I built the thing, but then it didn’t really work and I was unable to go sailing, so perhaps that’s a bug or perhaps it’s just me, but I’m hoping to enjoy that soon.
I love the tool belt, backpack, and side bag idea. They are amazing additions to this game and really help with exploration and gathering, however, trying to swim with these things on and filled with stuff will result in your drowning, so be careful! It’s realistic, you can’t go swimming with a pouch of rocks and expect to float! I do hope they balance it a bit with the skill levels so it will be possible to at least carry a little something while you swim. Get Griftlands PC Game.
