Europa Universalis IV is hands down one of the greatest grand strategy games of all time and quite possibly the best historical simulation game ever made. While vanilla was fun and impressive, every single update and change Paradox has introduced has made the game even better. I’ll admit it is unfortunate that there’s so many expensive DLCs which make it a bit harder for new players to get into, but the good news is if a friend owns all the DLC and they host a server everyone on the server gets their dlcs. The game is enjoyable and great even without DLCs, but I can certainly understand

Its kind of impressive to see some nations that are usually trod upon rise above others.
