Game Overview
After the brilliant Vietnam DLC and then the dissapointing Mars DLC, this was certainly a fun finale. The reviews are incredibly negative, but I’ve experienced no technical difficulties with it, all I’ve had with it is fun. It’s just that, a fun (and far too short) DLC, it doesn’t mess around, you just jump in and shoot zombies. The humour can be a little bad and cringey, but it has some good moments, I’ll probably just play through it again without voice or music audio while blasting the DOOM soundtrack, because that’s essentially how this is meant to be played. Is it worth $10? Maybe, I automatically got the DLC with the super duper ultra mega deluxe gold special edition so I didn’t necessarily pay for the individual DLC. I think the reviews on the quality of this DLC are a little extreme, what the DLC strives to be, it accomplishes well. It’s not for everyone, but I certainly enjoyed it. Get The Lonely Gorilla.
