Game Overview

Forts is a mashup style of worms, gun bound, bridge simulation, and resource management game all in one. The campaign is pretty good, but where it really shines is in its multiplayer play. Tons of fun with friends or just randoms online. It’s really a shame this game hasn’t received more acclaim because it truly is a gem. Been waiting around for a game like this for a long time. Hopefully the community grows in time. The devs are great too, just check out some of the reviews. They respond and actually listen to the fan base which is more and more rare in today’s world of gaming.

Sure there could be some balance changes and more options. Down the line in branching out the tech tree even more. I’m sure these are all on the way since looking at recent patches they have been addressing balance issues. I will say one thing I would like in the game is the option to play a free for all. Right now the maps are make for 2 teams of up to 8 players total to duke it out. You cannot select a team 3-4-5-etc. I was with a group of 3 friends, and we unfortunately couldn’t play 1v1v1. Also another suggestion is more options for adding in ai players. For instance with my group of 3 players. We couldn’t add in an ai player for one side so it would be a 2v2.
