Game Overview
Ah, GTA Vice City. The game that blew my mind as a kid the first time I played it. The graphics, animation, gameplay mechanics (driving vehicles especially), everything just blew me away. Now I shouldn’t have played a certified 18+ game as a kid and it is not because of the obvious factors, it’s because of the simple fact that kids are dumb! They are just stupid, snivelling, snotty. You also get GTA San Andreas game.
The game just nails the 80’s vibes. Its got the right art design, over-the-top story, rediculous gameplay mechanics and the pure 80’s soundtrack… oh lord the soundtrack! R* really did went mental with the soundtrack. I’m not sure how wrong I am by saying this but one big reason why this game still holds up today is for its ‘vibes’ or nostalgia, everything else – like the A.I and Physics – no longer holds up by today’s standards unfortunately. On the plus side, this flaw can result in many rediculous moments which you won’t get in any new modern games. You really enjoyed playing this game originally, especially after being played GTAIII. I loved the depth they added to the game compared to the former, especially the main character dialogue which completely lacked.
