From the main menu, pick the LIVE option and sign in. It may take a while, may be not, but just be patient if it seems to take a while. At some point it will also ask for your game key. Don’t try to close the GFWL overlay in the game while it’s signing in either, I did and the whole thing became unresponsive. It may ask you to update GFWL, I updated but it may not be necessary. When I tried to sign in when prompted while starting a new game, it crashed. So using the LIVE option from the main menu was necessary for me. Once you’re signed into LIVE go ahead and start a new game, it should work without any problems. It’s been a while since I played this game and it was a pain to get it working this time, but so far it was worth it. I almost gave up at one point, was gonna chalk it up to the game being incompatible with Windows 10. It actually works fine under Windows 10, it’s just this Games For Windows Live/Marketplace stuff that gets in the way. Another game that you may like to play is called GTA Vice City.
