Game Overview
As a hacking simulator game, the game simulates the terminal very well. The basic is pretty much the same while there are some custom commands mixed in. The game also has an auto complete feature although it’s quite limited; you can’t do auto complete for stuffs in other directory. Well, sometimes it works, but sometimes it don’t. The game also doesn’t support complicated command with arguments like rm -rf even though the game has missions like this. The limitations are pretty acceptable to me though. Get Alexander PC Game.
Anyway, if you have no idea with anything that i said above, the game will help you to learn some terminal commands. If you’re in windows, it’s the thing that popped up when you press windows+r and then type cmd, except that the commands are for Linux OS and the like. Like how most terminals are, there is a help command that you can use to recognize all of the available commands and if you didn’t notice it like i did, the help command actually has paging in it; you can type help 1, help 2, and help 3 to check most of the commands in the game. Most, because the help command won’t tell you anything about what does your .exe file do.
