You have health points but enemies will full on instant kill you if you collide with them, and from about level 8ish small purple tanned enemies will appear and their shots, which look like normal ones, will do 10 health a hit which is basically an instant kill to anyone but a leveled up Mei. Some bosses have straight up unbridgeable instant kill attacks too, but every girl has a temporary invincibility shield skill so there’s no problem there at least.
