Here Be Dragons is a tactical turn-base strategy game that could also have been a board game. The game is currently in Early Access so things can change. During my time playing, I encounter no bugs whatsoever, and it does not feel like an Early Access title at all. Starting up you will get a good interactive tutorial. It does not overwhelm you and you will learn as you play. As it is turn-base, the tutorial is set up so that you learn one new move each turn. I enjoy the pace that the information is introduce. The game is a tactical turn-based game that also makes use of dice, which are used to upgrade attacks or boost defenses, among other things. The game is broken up in levels and you need to win one in order to move onto the next.
In each level you have one more more ships to control and various enemies to encounter. The player who has the most initiative chooses the dice that they wish to use and attacks first. Initiative can be regained each turn.
