This is a 4v4 team game that can be played locally or online. You first decide whether you would like to be a worker or the queen. The game will select 1 queen for your team and 3 workers. Same thing for the opposing team. There are 3 paths to victory. Kill the enemy queen 3 times, fill your base with the enough berries, or move a snail across a finish line. The queen can automatically fly and attack from the get go. Her main job is to secure the gates that allow the workers to get upgrades. Workers cannot attack immediately or fly, but gates allow them to evolve to warrior classes that can. Alternatively, workers can get upgrades from gates that allow them to move the snail faster or collect berries easier.
The game play has a little bit for everyone. You can focus on slaying the other team as a merciless bee warrior or you can play more passively as an extreme plat former dodging the enemies and scoring berries in your base.
