Ben never really left the 90s, in his mind the gaming industry peaked with the likes of Full Throttle and Day of the Tentacle. Whenever you’re playing as Ben, you’re playing his old-school point-and-click adventure where puzzles are solved through combining inventory items and talking things out with interesting characters. Dan takes his cues from the likes of Super Meat Boy and Celeste, all he cares about his platforming, and in fact, it’s all he’s capable of. His hands are too chunky to pull a lever, even if he wanted to stoop to Ben’s lows.
