Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is an isometric platform game starring the titular heroine. While she is exploring a Mayan tomb, Lara finds a magic relic, and suddenly is surround by bad guys. In the following events, an ancient Mayan demon, Xolotl, is release by mistake. Now Lara must survive the traps laid out by the demon. She receives the help of Totec, the guardian of light, who imprisoned Xolotl many years ago. You also get Tales of Winds Tomb of the Sol Empire PC Game.
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is an enjoyable Twin-Stick Shooter, especially if another player joins you. Puzzles adapt to having another player there, making sure you both have something to do. The story is terrible and I don’t remember much. Each level has several objectives which when completed will unlock stuff. Not an especially memorable game, but an enjoyable one while you’re playing. Avoid the sequel as it’s impressively bad and boring.
