Game Overview
This is the classic side scrolling experience made for VR. It’s both challenging and rewarding but I did have a few issues with it. Because it is a left-to-right side scrolling game, translated into a 3D/VR room-scale layout, sometimes, you may want to move your character to the right and because the character is moving from one adjacent wall to the next in a linear direction, while you are physically turning to see the character, sometimes the forward direction is “right” on the controller, and sometimes it is “left” depending on how the map is structured and this led to a few times, when I died because I hit the wrong direction. 2nd issue is that the player has to manually move themselves upward or downward to follow along the vertical map that the character is traversing.
It would be better if the camera/viewpoint of the player eased upward or down, following along with your characters movement, instead of using the track pad/joystick to adjust your view, while also moving the character. Another issue was the lack of control tutorial or simple control graphic for your character. It took me a good 10-15 minutes before I realized. Get Contraptions Parkour PC Game.
