There are two parts to the game, the combat and farming/dating part. You control a separate character for each with their own stats and levels but with a shared inventory. The combat itself is made up by a traditional turn based mode and a completely different mode where you jump around swinging swords. None of these modes are especially innovate, intuitive or fun. Farming/Dating isn’t that much better, especially the farming part I found to be quite boring, but if you’re into that sort of game play then Mega Milk Story has got you covered. The dating part was okay. They feels really satisfying when the relationships you invest time, energy and money into starts paying dividends. It did warm my heart a little bit when one of the girls wanted to move in (esp in context with the girl’s backstory). May not be the most groundbreaking dating simulator but it is an passable average.
