Mekabolt is a very chill game. The story is pretty light, it’s all about the platforming in this title. Have a basic jump and a zapper that interacts with enemies and the world very differently. There’s about 4 worlds with 20-30 stages in each area. They are pretty quick stages that slowly ease you into new mechanics every so level. It’s hard not to like this game.
The first few levels made me wary of what was to come. I learned to dislike games that try to mix puzzles with difficult platforming, and this game starts by showing you things kill you instantly. But I ended up playing the whole game in one sitting without a single rage quit. It was very enjoyable. Everything is easy, the platforming, the puzzles. Maybe ‘casual’ is a more suited word.
