It’s more than very good, it’s SATISFYING. If you like basketball and if you like sports games, this is a REALLY good sports game that goes quite in depth. There’s a ton of single player modes and you’re bound to find something that you’ll like, be it MyCareer, MyLeague or MyGm. Each of them has different feels and each of them is actually good for once, especially MyCareer. Both 2k17 and 2k18 had a horrible storyline, and while this is by no means an AAA Hollywood production, at least it kept me engaged and actually interested in the characters that show up here and there. It’s funny, it’s light and it doesn’t try to be a sports drama. You also get Steam Rails to Riches.

Anyway, the graphics compartment of NBA 2k19 doesn’t let down and lets you enjoy the whole breathtaking experiences of an NBA game. For an American it might not be much, but for any basketball fan outside of the US the “wow” factor is always incredible. Also, it scales really well and you won’t really notice. I run everything at max settings and the game will scale its quality depending on the intensity of what’s showing on screen. Just take a screenshot of a 3v3 game in an empty arena and compare it to a league game in a stadium full of spectators and you’ll see the difference. Mind you, in the rush of the game you won’t notice it, so I can’t really complain about it, but it’s still far from photorealism.
